In my drawing it isn’t what most people would think when they think of the future. The reason I drew a picture of half of a horse’s head is because I believe that people are forgetting how much of an impact they created on us when first settling here in America. So I believe that as time goes on more and more people will forget and not think of how we all first started.
I feel i did well on this project because i went outside the box and hit the topic at a completely different angle than most people would have. I believe my work is at least above a 75.

What do you think it will be like in our future?
I feel that we will continue to advance technology as time goes on and there will be many different advancements for us and our convenience. There already has been some amazing advancements in our lifetime so i believe that in time they will continue to advance. How will people communicate with family and friends? I believe that communication will continue to advance in the technology we use. Smartphones will keep getting more advanced in the features they provide and they also will make talking back and forth even clearer than it already is. How will we commute to school or work? I think that some people will have different ways to make their commute. Some people will have more efficient ways than the other. just like today even though our technology is very advanced we still have people that dont have it as efficient. Will there be world peace and equality? That is something that we can only hope for. Technology and money are two things that can either cause great things or bad things. we hope that we will have world peace and equality for all but only time can tell us for sure. I Developed Skills:
While i was working on this project i learned how to use my creativity to my advantage. First hearing that i had to use the earth to make my project really confused me. Once i actually got to looking at everything around me outside it didn't take long for me to develop an idea. I wanted to do something that you could already see outside in the woods or outside in general but put my own twist on it. so i came up with the idea of a spider web made from tree limbs around my house. Engage and Persist: I looked up many ideas and art pieces on the internet and i found some really unique ones but most were way out of my element and my time limit. so i began to start dissecting each and every art piece i saw and thought about what i could do to make it my own. Then i started to see carvings from tree trunks and saw how a man carved a spider in the wood. Once i saw this idea i knew what i was gonna do my project on. Explore: Some of the art pieces i saw on the internet were beyond amazing, some of the ideas i wanted to do were amazingly challenging. I went also on YouTube to watch more carving videos and more sculptures and even went as far as to watch ice sculptures being created. I really loved this project because there are so many possibilities i could do with it. The only thing that i had to really look in depth to know was the time it took to make a great art piece. I Developed Skills:
While creating this art piece there were a lot of different factors that i had to consider while creating it. One skill i feel i developed was precision. While trying to manipulate the cup and cut out the pieces i wanted to i realized just how tedious and precise i had to be. Since the cup is so fragile and can easily be broken i had to carefully consider what my design had to be so i could effectively create it. it wasn't easy but i had a great time completing it. Engage and Persist: There were a lot of times i found myself looking up ideas people have created and the process in which they used to create it. There are so many different ideas out there and there are so many techniques it was almost overwhelming. I talked to my mom and dad for ideas and we all decided the design that fit me best was flames cut out of the cup and having them shooting from the top. It wasn't a very easy concept but it was definitely one that i felt would work the best Explore: I explored many different pictures and websites that gave my ideas to create my piece. i Even went outside of the styrofoam subject and even saw what people did with welding projects on pinterest. It was a little out there but looking at all the different designs for firepits and all the different sculptures people created gave me loads of ideas to create. After looking at all these different art pieces and ideas my design i wanted seemed to flow together much easier and a lot cleaner than it would have.

To me the fun theory is when you take something everyday or something that doesn't seem to appealing to most people and you make it to where it is way more interesting or enjoyable. Making ordinary everyday life more enjoyable to everyone around us. IF i had to make something in everyday life more enjoyable i would make walking down the sidewalk in the city by making every block light up with different colors when someone walks down it to make it more fun and more bright.
While i watched this video i was very focused into it and it gave me alot of motivation to go out and embrace my visions of art. It really made me feel more confident in my artwork and the different styles i create within it. He was a very good and very inspiring speaker, after he talked about how he had permanent nerve damage and yet he still created beautiful artwork really caught my attention and it really inspired me. I would really love to see what artwork he creates in the future and see what new techniques he creates.
